Nashville Area Beekeepers Association

Since 1952 Nashville Area Beekeepers Association is a group of men and women dedicated to the continuing education of beekeepers in Nashville and the surrounding counties!

WHY JOIN NABA?

We are engaging with and eager to encourage people interested in becoming successful beekeepers by instruction in our monthly meetings, attending beginning and advanced beekeeping classes which we sponsor and providing hands on mentoring whether in person or by video conferencing.

We support our communities by investing time in schools, attending local events at Centennial Parks Earth Day, Nashville Zoo and Ellington Agriculture Centers Farm Day, and Christmas at Ellington. We teach and instruct what a bee’s life is and how to manage the bee’s existence with instructional observation hives and displays.

As a club of dedicated beekeepers, we offer monthly informative meetings with excellent speakers who have interesting, timely topics including visual audio pictures and allowing question and answer sessions. Whether you are a hobbyist, honey producer, or a sideliner we have a combined 100 years or more of beekeeping experience. Our members are from all walks of life who are dedicated to making you a successful beekeeper!

By becoming a member, you will also have access to the “members only” portal on the NABA website that contains an archive of past newsletters, videos of past presentations and other valuable information. Also, you will have access to one of the most extensive bee book libraries in the region with free use of books to read.

Please join us on the second Sunday of each month to hear top notch speakers and socialize with other like-minded beekeepers. You will learn from others and feel empowered to become a better beekeeper.
