Local Bees

Bee Buss
The Package is approximately 30,000 bees and a queen in a cage inside the “Bee Bus” as it is called. The bees will start from scratch drawing out wax comb so that the queen can lay eggs in the cells. This process takes longer for the bees to grow into a hive, but once established will take off like a rocket ship! Cost is much less than a Nuc.

Nuc
The Yellow Nuc has a queen laying eggs, brood is capped and will imerge in 21 days. Also, food is available in the form of honey and is on the five frames. This is set up to give a beekeeper a head start to the colony, but will cost more.

Queen Cage
Queen cage is a queen inside the box with attendants and a sugar block at the end of the one end. Queen cages are purchased when your queen has gone absent and you need to get a new queen to continue laying eggs!
