Come join us this Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 PM in the Ed Jones Auditorium at Ellington Ag Center for our monthly NABA meeting. Our featured speaker this month is John Ratcliff. John, a former NABA president, lives in Hendersonville and has been a beekeeper for over ten years. He started his first colony by catching a swarm. Now he and his two sons, Jack and Noah, manage over 60 colonies. From the start, he has removed swarms from properties. He admits the work is sometimes dangerous but is motivated by donating many of the removed swarms to his neighbors or to non-profits. His presentation is based on personal experience.

This Sunday is also Daylight Savings Time when we Spring Forward. Make sure you set your clocks ahead to not miss Sunday’s meeting.
