Bees in the Classroom – Teacher Seminar

The Nashville Area Beekeepers Association will be conducting a seminar on Saturday, September 7, 9 am – 12 noon at Belmont University’s McWhorter Building, classroom 102 (change from original location, see below). The goal is to help teachers and educators learn how to teach students about honey bees, other pollinating insects, and their importance to our ecosystem.

This seminar is designed for public school teachers, private school teachers, 4-H instructors, FFA instructors, Ag in the Classroom teachers, etc.

Our instructor will be Katharina Davitt from Keno, Oregon. Katharina is a prominent instructor of young people in the western U.S.. Click for a synopsis of her seminar.
